September 2009 Update

PACA Athletics
The school year has begun as we are well into our 3rd week of classes here at PACA. It is good to be back in Brazil and connecting to different teachers and students. Jason has been busy with the new athletic director position as many of the games had to be rescheduled due to the late start of school because of the swine flu in Sao Paulo. We are enjoying serving the school, coaches, & students through athletics. Many life lessons and spiritual applications can be displayed in sports and through our teams for God’s glory!
• Pray for our coaches as they relate to their players, that Truth may be spoken that will impact them for their lifetime.
• Unity of teams and good relationships to form.

Discipleship
Three individuals specifically come to mind when I think of discipleship. Please pray for Philip, Timmy, & Michael. These individuals are at a stage in life when they are asking many deep questions and searching for Jesus in a new way.
• Wisdom for Jason as he searches Scripture and counsels these young men.
• That each student would find his identity in Christ.

Family News
Have you heard our big news yet? We are pregnant!!! We still don’t know the sex of the baby but plan to find out soon. Andrea is in her 15th week and is doing well.
• Please pray for protection for Andrea and the baby. Andrea is only working part time this semester to minimize any chances of exposure to the swine flu and other illness.
• Pray for our family decision of whether or not we should sign another contract in O

ct. to continue at PACA under a different mission or return to the U.S.
